Summary
A successful event has taken place to report on the progress of digital projects across GM localities.
Last week the GM Digital First Primary Care (DFPC) team presented the work completed as part of the Advancing Quality Alliance (Aqua) Digital First Academy in an inspirational event at Citilabs Manchester.
Over 28 Digital Facilitators (DF) and IT leads were present to report on the advancements made with Digital Champions, records access, GP website improvement and NHS App projects across their localities.
These pioneers of digital change reported significant advancements in supporting organisations across the primary care network, shared learning around involving voluntary groups to support patients and talked through best practice in how to ensure that staff feel heard.
The presentations were packed with positive data, but in addition to the numbers, the overwhelming themes were inclusion and engagement, empowering patients and staff and how building meaningful relationships is the key to unlocking and embracing change.
The room was brimming with talent and the GM DFPC team represent a huge wealth of knowledge, passion and enthusiasm.
