New Greater Manchester Primary Care Leadership Programme

Summary

An exciting new programme for general practice clinicians and managers to develop their leadership skills.

Greater Manchester Primary Care Provider Board (GMPCB) has partnered with the NHS Confederation to provide a bespoke new leadership programme for general practice.

‘Leading Teams Through Change’ will launch on 28 November, 2024, with a total of 34 participants from across the 10 localities of Greater Manchester.

The programme has been designed to support general practice clinicians and managers to develop their leadership skills within the complex, changing landscape of primary care and the wider context of the integrated care system.

This includes GPs, nurses, practice managers, Primary Care Network (PCN) managers and ARRS (Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme) roles.

During the programme participants will have the opportunity to focus on local challenges and complexities, as well as share best practice and ideas among programme colleagues.

Learning will take place through a mixture of online and face-to-face workshops over a period of four months.

Further details about the programme can be found on our Primary Care Leadership Programme page.
