The Health Innovation Network have produced an AF toolkit as part of the Pan-London AF Programme.
The three London AHSNs have worked collaboratively with the London Clinical Network to develop a pan-London AF programme, the objectives of which are:
- To increase the detection of people with undiagnosed AF
- To increase the proportion of people with known AF and at high risk of stroke who are receiving anticoagulation therapy.
- To improve the quality of anticoagulation services
The outcome of this collaboration is the production of an online interactive toolkit, designed to guide healthcare professionals and commissioners through the steps and resources required to improve the detection and treatment of people with AF. The toolkit can be accessed here.
