The Academy of Medical Royal Colleges has drawn together a wide range of stakeholders, to align efforts to implement quality improvement training as a core competence in practice.
Experience, expertise and insight have been gained from many different organisations – clinicians and non-clinicians, and most importantly patients – providing a richness and momentum to efforts to enable all trainees (and senior clinicians), and so their patients, to benefit from developing this capability.
The vision has been to provide strategic direction to the content, resources and supporting architecture on all matters relevant to training in quality improvement for undergraduate and postgraduate trainees.
