In this episode of the Primary Care Knowledge Boost (PCKB) podcast, doctors Lisa and Sara are joined by consultant endocrinologist, Dr Rupinder Kochhar, to talk about patients with type 2 diabetes.
Most of the discussion focuses on the management of type 2 diabetes in younger patients, how to de-escalate treatment and what the goals might be in frailer elderly patients. They also talk through a hypothetical case and discuss diagnosis.
