2023/24 programme
Greater Manchester Primary Care Provider Board (PCB) has partnered with Health Integration Partners to provide a bespoke programme to support each of the 10 Greater Manchester Place-based GP Boards with board development.
The programme provides practical hands-on support, using in situ coaching to equip Place-based GP Boards with the skills and plans to thrive as effective and sustainable bodies for leading quality and change as part of the health and care community.
Through an initial diagnostic with the chair of each board, an expert facilitator from Health Integration Partners is assigned to work with them and their respective board members to develop a high impact board development plan. Members will then attend face-to-face sessions delivered over one day or two half days.
Development is tailored depending on the board’s needs and priorities and may include, but is not limited to:
- effective board decision making
- optimising board function
- optimising board time
- population health management
- refreshing vision and shared purpose
- shaping organisational culture
- strengthening system partnerships
- wellbeing
