The GP Excellence programme are pleased to offer an opportunity for individuals and/or teams to work with a qualified Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner.

The focus of this work is to develop an understanding with practice managers of the people skills to effectively manage staff and to create an environment which supports high levels of attendance and to proactively manage absence when it occurs. The core skills of developing relationships, creating psychologically safe environments, facilitating challenging conversations with compassionate leadership.

Learning Outcomes

The high-level outcomes are to enhance the current skills and equip managers with additional skills and softer skills to manage attendance and proactively and compassionately manage absence when it occurs.

The Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator (MBTI) has been used for some time now and very often the results have been remarkable. The MBTI practitioner will support you to undertake a self-report inventory designed to identify a person’s personality type, strengths, and preferences. The MBTI can provide a lot of insight into your personality, which is why the instrument has become so enormously popular.

This offer is aimed at anyone working in a Greater Manchester General Practice or PCN who manages people as part of their role. This can be as a clinician leading a team or a manager leading a PCN, practice or admin team.
