Summary
Free webinars and events to increase your knowledge about cancer.
Primary care colleagues are invited to join a series of cancer-focused lunch and learn sessions.
The webinars take place on the second Tuesday of each month, and are organised by NHS Cancer Alliance and Greater Manchester Cancer Academy.
Each session focuses on a particular topic or tumour site, and you’ll get the chance to ask questions on the day or submit them in advance.
Book your place for a selection of topics, which include:
- Head and neck cancers: 14 October, 1pm to 1.50pm
- Neuro-oncology: 11 November, 1pm to 1.50pm
- Breast cancer: 9 December, 1pm to 1.50pm
- Haematology oncology (Haem-Onc): 13 January 2026, 1pm to 1.50pm
- Skin cancer: 10 February 2026, 1pm to 1.50pm
Each session is equivalent to one Continuing Professional Development (CPD) point, and recordings are available to watch each month.
You can also attend their longer education events, which are held in person at Kings House Conference Centre, Manchester. These are equivalent to four CPD points:
- Urology and Lower Gastrointestinal (LGI): Wednesday 24 September, 12pm to 4.30pm
- Non-clinical practice: Wednesday 22 October, 12pm to 4.30pm
- Gynae and breast: Wednesday 19 November, 12pm to 4.30pm
- Head & neck and oesophageal: Wednesday 25 March, 2026, 12pm to 4.30pm
