Summary
Practices can book to join on the day or watch again via the PCB website.
A series of free webinars will help dental providers prepare for Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections.
All dental practices must be registered with CQC and are subject to regular inspections, which cover the five key lines of enquiry (KLOEs) of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
The Greater Manchester Dental Provider Board (DPB), which is a sub-board of the primary care provider board (PCB), has organised several supportive webinars until May 2026.
The webinars will be delivered in partnership with Dr Patricia Langley BDS. Dr Langley has more than 30 years’ experience in dentistry, including leadership roles such as Deputy Chief Dental Officer at Denplan and Chief Dental Officer at Dentex Healthcare.
The first in the series, entitled ‘CQC update and avoiding common compliance issues’ was held in November.
A new page on the PCB website has been created to host the recording of this session and future webinars, for those unable to attend.
The next webinar will take place on Wednesday 14 January, 2026, from 12.30pm to 2pm.
It will provide an overview on the updated ‘mythbuster 29’ on safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk, plus support for practices to understand their obligations under the Mental capacity Act.
You can book your place now for ‘Dental Safeguarding Update (including CQC mythbuster 29) and the Mental Capacity Act’.
All dental webinars are CPD-accredited.
