Applications open for Fairer Health for All Fellowship Progamme

Summary

Applications are open for cohort two of the Fairer Health for All Fellowship programme, starting in Autumn 2024.

If you work in Greater Manchester and have a passion for reducing health inequalities, the Fairer Health for All Fellowship (FHfA) programme could be for you.

The programme offers a unique opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in population health, equality and sustainability and put your learning into practice through a self-chosen project.

Applications are open to people from clinical and non-clinical backgrounds from all sectors of the GM health and care workforce, including primary care, secondary care and voluntary community and social enterprise (VCSE) roles.

Fellows are released for one day per week from their existing role for one year to complete training and work on their fellowship project. Applicants will need to secure confirmation of support from their employer, to allow for full participation in the fellowship programme.

Interested applicants should complete an Expression of Interest form before Sunday 30 June, 2024.

The FHfA programme is part of Fairer Health for All – a system-wide commitment and framework to reduce health inequalities across the wider, social determinants of health, as well as a greener, fairer, more prosperous city-region.
