A business continuity planning webinar delivered by the GP Excellence programme and trainer Luan Stewart is available in September.
In response to the recent tragic events in Southport and subsequent riots, the PCB’s GP Excellence programme is running a webinar dedicated to business continuity planning.
Taking place on Wednesday 4 September, the webinar will equip PCNs and practices with the tools to design a high-quality business continuity plan to aid with CQC safe domain areas, ensuring that tools are on hand to assist with safety concerns.
The session will include a useful business continuity plan template and further templates for emergency planning. It will also briefly cover the recent IT outage, dynamic lock down procedures for riots and periods of unrest and potential issues with the current GP collective action.
Luan is a practice manager with 15 years’ experience in general practice and Primary Care Network (PCN) management. She is a mentor for various NHS providers, a professional associate for the Local Medical Committee (LMC) and a peer appraiser.
The webinar is suitable for practice managers, operations managers, PCN managers, compliance managers and assistant managers.
