Enhance your digital skills with bite-size audio session

Summary

A Smarter Notes, Better Care audio session for GPs has launched on the PCB’s Spotify channel.

GPs can learn about the importance of digital record keeping in a bite-size audio session.

The Smarter Notes, Better Care session is part of Greater Manchester Primary Care Provider Board’s (PCB) work to support digital transformation in primary care.

It is designed to appeal to GPs who like to listen and learn on the go.

Hosted on the PCB’s Spotify channel, busy colleagues can tune in and learn how to improve their digital skills.

The 30-minute session is narrated by Dr Chris Nortcliff, the PCB’s Chief Clinical Information Officer and GP Digital Lead.

He explains how to ensure safety is maintained – and highlights the benefits of clinical record keeping – in a world where patients have digital access to their own records.

Practices are required under the GP Contract to enable prospective record access for all patients unless it is deemed likely to cause serious harm to the patient or another individual.

Records can be viewed via the NHS App or through other patient portal applications.
