Get a good night’s sleep with free webinar

Summary

Your sleep posture can improve sleep quality and waking symptoms.

Places are available for two wellbeing webinars devoted to getting a good night’s sleep.

The sessions will be run by NHS Greater Manchester, in collaboration with Pragmatic People, and will focus on the importance of sleep posture.

Evidence shows that the position we adopt in bed can impact our sleep quality and how refreshed we feel in the morning.

The sessions will explore how postures can potentially exacerbate pain and disturbed sleep. You will get practical advice on how to get a better sleep posture that could improve sleep quality and waking symptoms.

The first session on Tuesday, 17 September between 10am and 11am is open to anyone working in GM health and care interested in improving their sleep posture. The second, on Tuesday, 8 October between 10am and 11am, will look at the impact of sleep posture on peri-menopause.

If the session appears full on Eventbrite, you’re advised to join the waiting list. This will reserve you a place and you will receive an email with a link to join the session. This is due to Eventbrite limiting the session capacity for free events.
