GM Cancer Forum for non-clinical primary care professionals

Summary

The next Greater Manchester Cancer Forum study day is taking place on Tuesday 19 November, 2024.

The November forum is for non-clinical primary care professionals in Greater Manchester.

Hosted by Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance and GatewayC, the November GM Cancer Forum’s free study afternoon aims to support non-clinical primary care professionals in their role at the front line of early cancer detection.

Non-clinical staff play an important role in early cancer detection, often serving as the first point of contact for patients. The forum is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insights from leading cancer specialists into the latest frontline innovations in cancer detection.

Topics covered will include lung health checks, new lung cancer initiatives, This Van Can (prostate cancer awareness roadshow) and public and patient facing communications. There will also be a live Q&A session.

The forum will take place at AC Hotel Manchester Salford Quays, between 12.00pm and 4.30pm, with lunch included for delegates attending in person. For those who cannot attend in person there is the option to view the event via a live stream.
