GM Care Record training for end-of-life care planning

Summary

Training is available on a new version of the digital end-of-life care plan on the GM Care Record system.

The end-of-life care plan, known as the Electronic Palliative Care Coordination Systems (EPaCCS) care plan, is part of the GM Care Record.

The digital plan allows up-to-date end-of-life care information to be shared with all professionals involved in a person’s care, including any changes to their preferences, wishes and personalised care plans.

Ahead of the latest version launching on Monday 30 September, several lunch and learn sessions are taking place to allow staff to familiarise themselves with the updated system:

  • 12pm to 1pm, Monday 16 September
  • 12pm to 1pm, Wednesday 18 September
  • 12pm to 1pm, Friday 20 September
  • 12pm to 1pm, Monday 23 September
  • 1pm to 2pm, Wednesday 25 September
  • 12pm to 1pm, Friday 27 September

The training will cover all new features of the updated plan and is suitable for anyone involved in a multi-disciplinary team coordinating end-of-life care. You do not need to have used the EPaCCs system before to attend the training.
