GM wellbeing and mental health support

Summary

Helpful document brings together updated information about the range of support available to health and care workers.

A collection of links signposting to mental health support across Greater Manchester has been curated to help improve access for health and care colleagues.

The refreshed GM Wellbeing & Mental Health Support Links, March 2025 aims to help individuals, team leaders or line managers understand the options available to support their own wellbeing. It has been updated following some changes to the provision available.

Designed by the Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership, the guide includes links to mental health support, financial wellbeing, domestic or gender-based violence, talking therapies, bereavement services and support appropriate to your particular needs or circumstances.

It includes guidance on how to speak directly to someone, how to access online services or crisis information, and the type of support available at work or through your local community.

The document also contains a link to the comprehensive Greater Manchester Wellbeing Toolkit, which includes more detailed information about looking after your wellbeing, such as ‘understanding stress and burnout’ and ‘moving more to combat musculoskeletal conditions’.

Please share the updated support links with your teams and make them aware of how they can access support when needed.
