Help raise awareness of spring COVID-19 vaccine campaign

Summary

New resources are available for primary care to support the spring COVID-19 campaign.

To provide the best protection to those who need it most, the NHS is offering an additional COVID-19 vaccine to eligible groups this spring, including adults aged 75 and over, residents in care homes and individuals aged six months and over who are immunosuppressed.

Unfortunately, awareness of COVID-19 has fallen in recent years and so has motivation to get vaccinated. As part of their Protect and Prevent campaign, NHS Greater Manchester has produced a COVID-19 spring vaccination toolkit to raise awareness and encourage uptake of the vaccine.

The toolkit includes social media assets, videos, sample copy for newsletters and graphics for display screens. Once again, the campaign uses healthcare professionals as ‘trusted voices’ with this latest wave of the campaign featuring hospital consultants and a GP.

The campaign will run from now until 30 June, when the COVID-19 spring vaccine programme ends.

The toolkit and assets can be downloaded from the campaign resource centre on the NHS Greater Manchester website.
