Introductory webinars about support for practices managing demand

Summary

Last chance for practices to attend webinar about GPIP Intermediate Programme.

Register by 1 December and learn how the programme can offer hands-on support to manage demand.

A final call for GP practices to sign up to an introductory webinar and find out about support through the General Practice Improvement Programme (GPIP) has been issued.

Interested practices must register by Friday, 1 December to attend one of the webinars on the Intermediate Programme.

Webinars will be on various dates, starting from 4 December, and there’s no obligation to continue with the programme if not suitable.

The Intermediate Programme is just one of the many avenues of support delivered by the GPIP and includes a hands-on package to help practices refine and improve the systems they have in place to help manage demand.

The programme runs for 13 weeks and includes facilitated in-person sessions, a data diagnosis and a tailored analysis of demand and capacity.

Practices must have in place:

  • A cloud/internet-based phone system that is generating data like call volumes by time, dropped calls and waiting times (or be about to install one)
  • A digital contact tool such as an online consultation system
  • A willingness to undertake a Support Level Framework facilitated conversation
