Summary
The latest national General Practice Improvement Programme support offers are now available for practices and Primary Care Networks to access.
Colleagues working in Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and general practice can access the latest NHS England General Practice Improvement Programme (GPIP) support offers.
GPIP provides tailored support for practices and PCNs over two years (2023 to 2025) to make changes and improvements to how they work and was introduced as part of the Delivery plan for recovering access to primary care.
Support consists of the following elements:
- PCN level support – six full day face-to-face delivery sessions over a six month period to support PCNs to develop and agree a jointly owned shared purpose, understand demand and capacity across the network, and identify local solutions to issues.
- Practice level support (PLS) – a hands-on package of support delivered over three months (13 weeks) to enable and support practices to plan and deliver improvements.
- Capability building offers – providing individuals in practices and PCNs with practical development programmes that will increase their core skills and understanding of quality improvement tools and techniques and managing change. The offer includes short-term (over two to three sessions) and longer-term (up to twelve months) development opportunities.
Dates for each support offer are available throughout February and March.
Further details, including times and links to sign up to the different support offers can be found in this document.
