NHS England course for creating compassionate and inclusive cultures

Primary care colleagues are invited to register for the January cohort.

NHS England is offering primary care colleagues the chance to take part in an online course to help build compassionate and inclusive cultures.

The ‘Nurturing Compassionate and Inclusive NHS Culture’ course is aimed at anyone interested in improving the culture within their team, organisation or system via a collective leadership approach.

Registration for the January 2026 cohort is now open, and the course runs over three months.

All sessions are online and broken down into bite-sized chunks. Resources include videos, articles, discussions and practical exercises.

Participants will learn how compassionate, inclusive leadership strengthens team wellbeing and improves patient outcomes.

They will explore practical ways to foster positive cultures and connect with others – shaping the NHS of the future.

The course is free and participants will receive a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) certificate on completion.
