Opportunity to present research at SAPC North Conference in Manchester

Summary

The Society for Academic Primary Care (SAPC) North conference is taking place in Manchester this year with primary care colleagues invited to submit research ahead of the conference.

Taking place at the People’s History Museum in Manchester on 16 November, the SAPC conference is an opportunity to explore good practice, innovation and collaboration through primary care research and education.

Ahead of the conference, delegates are invited to submit examples of primary care research projects, also known as abstracts, which they have previously, or are currently undertaking around this year’s conference themes of partnering with local communities, improving health equity and embracing technological and societal change.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to showcase their research at the conference in a format of their choosing, including either a poster display, workshop or presentation.

Although research may be as a result of an individual’s academic studies, for example a postdoctoral fellowship, the SAPC also welcome independent research around subjects of interest from individuals, organisations and providers.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is 29 August 2023, the outcome of which will be communicated by email to applicants in September.
