The Primary Care Knowledge Boost (PCKB) podcast has reached an impressive milestone, with one million downloads!
The podcast, which is facilitated by GP Excellence Greater Manchester, has been helping those working across general practice with insightful episodes since it was launched in 2018.
Over the past five years, some of the more popular topics have included ‘managing diabetes in primary care’, ‘dealing with uncertainty’, and ‘cholesterol management’, with more informative subjects on the horizon.
The podcasts are recorded by Dr Sara MacDermott and Dr Lisa Adams, and enjoy a wide audience from across primary care, including GPs, advanced clinical practitioners, paramedics and pharmacists.
They feature clinicians from all walks of general practice, across Greater Manchester, including the current chair of the Greater Manchester Primary Care Provider Board (PCB), Luvjit Kandula, and the clinical director of GP Excellence, Dr Joanna Bircher.
As well as being an entertaining and educational listen, the podcasts can count towards your Continuous Personal Development (CPD), without the need for a certificate.
Check the PCB website or the PCB and GP Excellence socials for the latest episodes.
