Share your views on ADHD services for children and young people

Summary

Complete the survey if you work with children and young people with ADHD.

Health and care professionals working with children and young people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) are invited to take part in an engagement exercise.

NHS Greater Manchester (NHS GM) is gathering views on ADHD services for children and young people, with the intention of them having timely access to support tailored to helping them manage their condition and symptoms.

The engagement exercise runs until 29 November 2024, and seeks to address some of the issues including long wait times, levels of ongoing support for patients, the referral and assessment process, and how services vary across Greater Manchester.

The biggest priority is to improve how cases are prioritised, and make sure that children and young people who are most in need, get help quickly.

As well as encouraging those who use the services to share their views, NHS GM is keen to hear from colleagues working in ADHD services or wider services that support children with ADHD.

To find out more and to complete the survey before 29 November, visit the NHS GM website.

NHS GM is also carrying out work to improve adult ADHD services. For more information on this programme of work, email: gmhscp.engagement@nhs.net; call, text or WhatsApp: 07786 673762.
