Training for personalised care workforce

Summary

A series of training sessions have been designed to meet the needs of those working in personalised care roles as part of ARRS.

Training is available for social prescribing link workers, care coordinators and health and wellbeing coaches.

The training has been designed by the Greater Manchester Person and Community Centred Approaches team following feedback from those in personalised care roles as part of the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS).

Colleagues were asked via an annual survey and conference about the support and training they received and would find useful in their personalised care ARRS roles.

As a result, the following online training courses are now available for the workforce and managers of social prescribing link workers, care coordinators and health and wellbeing coaches in general practice:

In addition, the team will soon launch ‘Exploring Additional ARRS Roles – Unleashing Synergies’ in June and ‘Supervision; Benefits, Examples and Framework Alignment’ in July.

Follow the PCCA team Eventbrite page for updates.

If you’d like to speak to someone about the results of the survey, or for support to embed the personalised care roles within practice, please email Charlotte Leonhardsen, Programme Manager – social prescribing and workforce lead, directly: c.leonhardsen@nhs.net
