Two open events by the NIHR

Summary

Primary care providers interested in clinical research studies can attend two events by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).

The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network (CRN) Greater Manchester will hold its second CRN primary care meeting on Wednesday 24 April.

The meeting will be hybrid and chaired by one of their GP speciality leads Dr Imran Ghafoor, who is a GP at Peterloo Medical Centre in Middleton.

Primary care colleagues interested in clinical research can request attendance, either virtually or in person, via a registration form.

The meeting will be held at Cornishway Group Practice, Wythenshawe between 10am and 12 noon.

It is expected the agenda items will last one and a quarter hours, with time afterwards to network.

The CRN Greater Manchester is also holding a strategic funding showcase to celebrate projects they funded in 2023/24.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the teams behind the projects as well as network with members of the CRN Greater Manchester team.

The event, on 27 March, is open to everyone in primary care. For more details and to reserve your place, visit their Eventbrite page.
