A webinar to support dental practices with the new CQC framework is taking place in January and February.
Dental practices are invited to book their place on a webinar to support with the requirements of the new Care Quality Commission (CQC) framework.
The webinar has been developed by the Greater Manchester Primary Care Provider Board (GMPCB), in collaboration with Greater Manchester Dental Provider Board (GMDPB) and PCC.
The webinar is the second in a series of new training offers as GMPCB continues to develop its support offers for primary care.

Understanding the CQC framework for dental providers
This two-hour webinar will provide an overview of the assessment framework and how dental providers can evidence they are well-led, including keeping ready for CQC submissions.
It will also cover practical support on using the CQC provider portal, followed by a question and answer session.
The session will be delivered via MS Teams and there are three dates to choose from:
- 12.30pm to 2.30pm – Wednesday 15 January, 2025
- 3.00pm to 5.00pm – Thursday 13 February, 2025
- 6.30pm to 8.30pm – Tuesday 25 February, 2025
Key handouts and an FAQ document will be shared with participants following the webinar.
The webinar counts towards two and a half hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Participants are asked to complete a short survey prior to attending the webinar to ensure content meets the needs of providers. The deadline for completion of the survey is Monday 9 December.
