A webinar for PCNs and practices interested in supporting a trainee pharmacist with their prescribing capabilities for the 2025/6 foundation year is taking place on two dates in August.
Greater Manchester Training Hub, in partnership with NHS Greater Manchester, is hosting a webinar for PCNs and practices focusing on prescribing rotations for foundation year trainee pharmacists.
Taking place on the following dates via MS Teams, the webinar will cover support available and there will also be an opportunity to ask questions:
- 10am to 11am – Friday 9 August, 2024
- 2pm to 3pm, Thursday 22 August, 2024
Potential hosts and Designated Prescribing Practitioners (DPPs) are particularly encouraged to attend, however the webinar is open to all sectors for anyone who is interested.
The webinar has been designed following changes to pharmacist training. This document about supporting prescribing rotations for NW trainee foundation pharmacists in 2025/26 which was recently circulated to PCNs and practices provides further context.
