It’s a challenging time of year for many of us, in many ways. However, there are a wealth of helpful resources available for primary care colleagues, including:
Greater Manchester Resilience Hub run by qualified mental health and psychology professionals to provide free wellbeing and mental health support for all health and care staff (including their immediate families) who live or work in Greater Manchester.
Samaritans is available on 116 123 (free from any phone), 24hrs a day, or you can find support online. You can also ring if you are worried about someone else, or concerned that there may be a danger to life. There are other useful support lines available.
Financial wellbeing is challenging for many of us at this time, and the Greater Manchester Financial Wellbeing Guide has had a winter update in the run up to the festive period to support your day to day costs and concerns.
Finally, the festive wellbeing advent calendar from Action for Happiness has some daily tips to encourage kindness, connection and wellbeing.
