The latest series of webinars to support practices have been released by the PCB’s GP Excellence programme.
The webinars will run on various dates from January to March and will cover the following topics; finance quick wins, business planning and year-end planning.

Finance quick wins
This one-hour session will assist new managers, or those who are more experienced but wish to make sure they are not missing anything, with quick hints and tips to ensure you are working through all areas of finance, both making money and saving money.
Suitable for practice managers, finance managers, PCN managers and assistant managers.
Business planning
This one hour session will give you the tools to produce a high quality business continuity plan which will aid with CQC safe domain areas and ensure that you have the tools to hand to assist with safety concerns. The session will include a useful business continuity plan template and further templates for emergency planning.
This session is for practice managers, business managers and finance managers.
Year-end planning
This one hour session gives an overview of year end requirements. It also includes how to get through QOF maximising points. There will be a year-end action plan template and various handouts to ensure nothing is missed.
Suitable for practice managers, assistant managers, PCN Managers, QOF leads, data quality leads and nurse managers.

Luan is a practice manager with 15 years’ experience in general practice and Primary Care Network (PCN) management and has been delivering webinars in partnership with the GP Excellence programme for some time. She is also a mentor for various NHS providers, a professional associate for the Local Medical Committee (LMC) and a peer appraiser.
