This training will show practices what they need to know about Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations IR(ME)R 2017 and IRR17.
The fifth in a series of free webinars focused on dental Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections and myth-busters will be held on Wednesday, 3 June, from 12.30pm to 2pm.
This latest session will explore what you need to know and do about IR(ME)R 2017 (patient safety) and IRR17 (workplace safety) legislation.
By the end of the webinar, you will have a better understanding of:
- How to separate IR(ME)R 2017, as amended from IRR17
- The increased responsibilities for employers under the amendments
- How to ensure all team members involved in dental radiography are appropriately entitled, and what this means in practice
- How to manage accidental or unintended exposures
All webinars in the CQC series are facilitated by Pat Langley, an experienced trainer in dental compliance and regulation, and can be viewed again via the Greater Manchester Primary Care Provider Board (PCB) website.
The CQC series has been commissioned by Greater Manchester Dental Provider Board (DPB), which is a sub-board of the PCB, as part of its Dental Excellence Programme.
