Summary
This training will show how practices should gain valid consent for treatment and how to keep excellent patient records.
The fourth in a series of free webinars focused on dental Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections and myth-busters will be held on Wednesday, 29 April.
This latest session will explore the process of gaining valid consent for treatment, and what information should always be in your records.
Participants will gain a better understanding of what valid consent is, what it is not and why this matters.
The session will also cover how to avoid common pitfalls in patient record-keeping, how much information should be recorded in your patient records, and the inherent dangers of relying on templates.
You can book now to attend the Gaining Valid Consent and the Importance of Keeping Excellent Patient Records Webinar, from 12.30pm to 2pm.
All webinars in the CQC series are facilitated by Pat Langley, an experienced trainer in dental compliance and regulation, and can be viewed again via the Greater Manchester Primary Care Provider Board (PCB) website.
The CQC series has been commissioned by Greater Manchester Dental Provider Board (DPB), which is a sub-board of the PCB, as part of its Dental Excellence Programme.
