Polypharmacy action learning sets

Summary

Invitation to register for Polypharmacy Action Learning Sets (ALS) by the Health Innovation Network.

If you’re a GP, pharmacist or other prescriber in primary care who manages older people with medication issues, you’re invited to register for the next series of Polypharmacy Action Learning Sets (ALS).

Organised by the Health Innovation Network, formerly known as the Academic Health Science Network (AHSN), the next cohorts are due to start in March and involve three sessions on different days, each lasting two and a half hours.

For Cohort 13, on 6 March, 20 March and 3 April 2024, you can register for the waiting list:  Polypharmacy Action Learning Set Cohort 13 (weahsn.net)

For Cohort 14, on 28 March, 11 April and 25 April 2024, register your interest: Polypharmacy Action Learning Set Cohort 14 (weahsn.net)

The Action Learning Sets aim to help GPs and prescribing healthcare professionals build confidence in the complex issues around stopping inappropriate medicines safely.

They will also help Primary Care Networks (PCNs) deliver the medicines optimisation elements of the Directed Enhanced Services (DES) and Investment and Impact Fund (IIF) contracts.
