The following day, Chris attended the HETT North 2024 exhibition, organised by Healthcare Excellence Through Technology (HETT), at Manchester Central Convention Complex.

As part of the panel discussion ‘Rediscovering the patient journey: Bridging the gap across the health and care ecosystem’, Chris talked about the work of digital facilitators across GM and their work to encourage the use of digital tools that save time for practices and patients.

He said: “The onus is on providers to promote digital inclusion and encourage patients to actively take part in their own care.”

Finally, he covered the topic of ‘The impact of digital on health’ at the Stockport digital inclusion seminar along with key people from health and local government. A reminder that Chris has also written a blog on the digital transformation of primary care in GM.
