Summary
All GM health and care colleagues are invited to take part in an online staff event.
If you work in primary care, you are invited to help shape the NHS and its future as part of an all-staff online event for Greater Manchester.
The event takes place from 5.30pm to 7pm on Tuesday, 4 February and your views will contribute to the NHS Greater Manchester ‘Fit for the Future’ engagement programme, which was launched last summer.
Feedback will also be added to the national ‘Change NHS: help build a health service fit for the future’ which forms part of the government’s 10-year Health Plan.
The national conversation was launched in October 2024 following the independent review of the NHS by Lord Darzi, which was intended to start an open and honest conversation about the state of our health and service and the reforms needed.
The GM online event will give you the chance to say what’s important to you, what you think should be prioritised by NHS GM, and how you think things could be improved.
Register for your ticket now, and a link to the meeting will be shared nearer the time.
More information about the Fit for the Future programme is available on the NHS GM website.
It includes details of public engagement opportunities, a survey, and other ways to get involved.
